Tripartite Convergence Model for Human-Centered AI Governance
The Youth AI Future Institute (YAFI) operates at the intersection of technical AI alignment and safety research, public understanding of AI, and AI governance and policy — three domains that remain disconnected, with policy lacking technical grounding, public discourse swinging between AI hype and AI fear, and governance often excluding the people it serves. YAFI works to close these gaps, acting as the connective layer between research, society, and policy in support of a safe, transparent, and sustainable human-AI future.

It proposes five reforms—from AI literacy mandates to worker protections—designed to keep people, not algorithms, at the center of decisions that shape their lives.

Our founder cooperated with the official South Korean youth Government entity on topics of AI ethics, AI safety and the need for a stronger human-centered AI governance with the recently enforced law "FRAMEWORK ACT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND THE CREATION OF A FOUNDATION FOR TRUST" mentioning human dignity and social welfare, yet mainly focusing on measures for the industry's continued growth.
